Kettering Medical Center offers a variety of education programs for people with diabetes. We offer access to a team of skilled educators who can help patients safely manage diabetes and lead healthier lives.

Team Approach
Nurses and dietitians work together to provide comprehensive education. Our staff consists of numerous certified diabetes educators.

Morning, afternoon and evening appointments are available.

Small Group and Individual Appointments
Every patient need is unique. Small group and individual appointments are offered to provide the best care possible.

Diabetes Support Groups
Support groups are free and available for anyone interested in learning about diabetes. Speakers and information are available. Please call 937-384-6959 for dates and times.

Doctor’s Recommendation
A doctor’s order is required for all programs. The staff works with your physician to ensure that your diabetes is managed appropriately. Medicare covers diabetes education and Some insurance plans may also cover cost. Please check your insurance plan.
