"Today our emphasis is on maintaining the health and wellness of our community and, as appropriate, providing care across a broad spectrum of delivery sites. To accomplish these objectives, we need to be closely linked...with each other, with physicians and with managed care. The need for excellent communication and a system to support it has never been more important."
