Kettering Medical Center and the American Heart Association---the area's two most active proponents
of heart care---are partnering to increase awareness of heart disease among women. The
"Dayton Goes Red" campaign is a long term effort to promote heart health for women.

- 64% of women who die suddenly from heart disease…have NO previous symptoms of this disease.

- Heart attack, stroke and other cardiovascular diseases kill more than 460,000 women each year---about one death per minute.
