Just as adults can become physically ill, they might also experience behavioral problems. The Kettering Behavioral Medicine Center team helps individuals and families succeed in overcoming the challenges that come with these disorders and illnesses.

Services & Programs

Adult Inpatient Age 18 and Older
Short-term inpatient hospitalization is available for adults age 18 and older with a primary psychiatric diagnosis. Thirty beds are specifically for adult psychiatric treatment and crisis stabilization.

Adult Transition Support Group
An outpatient adult psychotherapy group by professional referral is offered twice weekly, with a licensed clinical psychologist leading the group.

Psychiatric Home Care
Psychiatric home care services are provided by Kettering Network Home Care. Nurses provide home-based services to those who suffer from depression, anxiety, panic disorders and are deemed home bound due to their medical or psychiatric condition.

Chemical Dependency Assessments
Assessments are provided for adult inpatients and outpatients by a doctor who specializes in treating addiction.

Psychological Testing Services
Psychological testing services by professional referral are performed by a licensed clinical psychologist on an inpatient or outpatient basis.


At Kettering Behavioral Medicine Center, free consultations with mental health professionals guide people who may want to seek treatment.
