 Why can't I find my new arrival?
It could be...
- The parents decided the baby gallery was not right for their family. The service must be requested by the parents and internet consent forms must be signed.
- The baby you are looking for might have been born at Kettering Medical Center.
- The baby was born prematurely. The decision to take the preemie's picture will be made by the parents and Neonatal Intensive Care staff. Often, these pictures are taken right before the discharge home.
- Timing. Pictures may take up to 48 hours to post.
How long do the pictures stay on the Baby Gallery?
Pictures and comments are left up for 60 days. After 60 days they will no longer be available. We encourage family and friends to print the pages as a keepsake.
Why are last names and addresses not used?
For security reasons, last names and addresses are not placed on the Baby Gallery. We realize that visitors to our site would enjoy sending congratulations to the new parents, but patient privacy is an important aspect of the care we provide. Please utilize the Baby Gallery Guestbooks to offer your best wishes to the family.
